NI Badges

The NI badge is your very own piece of the Giants Causeway and a great way of showing the world where you’re from. Similar to New Zealand who use NZ and the fern, we are NI and the Giants Causeway stone, a World Heritage Site often referred to as the ‘8th Wonder of the World’. NI is short for Northern Ireland or The North of Ireland, with ‘NI’ being the fresh digital and commercial ID for N.Ireland. World class talent, punching above our weight.
The badge itself is a solid, heavy nickel to a silver finish. It has a chamfered edge which catches the light to give it the 3D look of a piece of causeway stone on your lapel.
It looks class.
brandNI is a crowd-sourced, publicly owned, unfunded movement. It is non-political, non-religious and non-prejudicial and, as such, badges are not allowed to be used for those reasons.
Badges cost £3 individually or £2.50 for bulk orders. Profits from the sales of the badges will be distributed by the charity behind brandNI to youth projects in NI. There are discounts on very large orders, so please email us to ask about that – brandNI [squiggly ‘at’ thing]

NI Gold Award

The gold award is a crowd-sourced public award, given to people who have gone above and beyond for NI. People who have helped to put NI on the world map, or who have helped ‘build new and grow good’ in NI, or who have helped young people in NI to elevate themselves and achieve in life. Anyone can nominate someone and anyone can be nominated – unless they are actively engaged in politics, a religious leader or involved with anything that could be seen as prejudicial, as brandNI is a non-political, non-religious and non-prejudicial movement.

To nominate someone please

  1. Email brandni (squiggly ‘at’ thing)
  2. Subject title ‘Gold award nomination’
  3. Send details about the person, why you are nominating them and 3 other supporting references and as much detail as possible

Every month the brandNI awards team will meet and judge entries. The bar is deliberately set very high and relatively few awards are given out, so please do not be disheartened if your nomination is unsuccessful. But please do nominate as we would like to give out as many awards as possible. Do your best to send us the best application you can so the award is given!

Thank you.

No politics. No religion. No prejudice. Just NI.
